The Wedding of Michael & Yenny at Graha Manggala Siliwangi

"Saya tahu Willy Music Entertainment dari sebuah buku Wedding Guide." Begitulah kalimat pembuka Michael saat pertama kali menelepon Willy — perkenalan yang berujung pada pesta pernikahan di Graha Manggala Siliwangi.

Formasi yang dipilih Michael adalah keyboard, bass, saxophone, dan lima penyanyi. Dengan begitu, warna vokal terasa lebih kental pada setiap lagu. Prosesi masuk diawali penyambutan solo saxophone bersama Angel Pagar Ayu, lalu disusul Michael yang datang menjemput sang kekasih dengan sepeda berhias kaleng dan tulisan "Just Married" di bagian belakang.

Dalam perjalanan menuju pelaminan, keduanya disambut barisan keluarga yang menaburkan bunga. Rangkaian itu membuat prosesi masuk terasa megah sekaligus berbeda. Lagu "Sempurna" memang tepat dipilih untuk mewakili suasana pesta saat itu.

"Terima kasih, ya, untuk permainannya yang bagus. Dari dulu kami memang bercita-cita prosesi pernikahan ini diiringi pemain saxophone dan tarian pagar ayu!" Demikian kalimat orang tua mempelai di penghujung acara. Sebelumnya mereka sempat meminta saudaranya di Canda untuk bermain saxophone, hanya saja ia baru tiba di Bandung hari Senin. Mereka tidak menduga bahwa susunan acara dari Willy Music Entertainment ternyata sejalan dengan cita-cita itu.

"Terima kasih, ya, suara kalian semuanya bagus-bagus," ujar salah satu saudara mempelai yang malam itu juga menyumbangkan lagu sambil bermain piano.

"I found Willy Music Entertainment in a Wedding Guide book." That was how Michael opened his first phone call to Willy — a call that led to a wedding party at Graha Manggala Siliwangi.

Michael chose a line-up of keyboard, bass, saxophone and five singers, which gave every song a strong vocal character. The processional began with a solo saxophone welcome together with the Angel Pagar Ayu (the young women who greet and escort the couple), followed by Michael arriving to fetch his bride on a bicycle decorated with tin cans and a "Just Married" sign at the back.

As they walked towards the dais, the family lined the way and scattered flowers. All of it together made the processional feel grand and unusual. "Sempurna" was the right choice to carry the mood of the evening.

"Thank you for the lovely playing. We had always hoped this wedding procession would be accompanied by a saxophone player and a pagar ayu dance!" said the bride's parents at the end of the party. They had originally asked a relative in Canda to play the saxophone, but he would only arrive in Bandung on the Monday. They had not expected that the programme from Willy Music Entertainment would match their wish so closely.

"Thank you, all of your voices are wonderful," said one of the couple's relatives, who also sang a song that evening while playing the piano.
